Tryouts for the Johns Creek Eagles Select Middle School Basketball Team will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13 at Johns Creek Baptist Church, 6910 McGinnis Ferry Road.
Tryouts will be as follows: Sixth grade girls and boys at 6 p.m.; seventh grade girls and boys at 6:45 p.m. and eighth grade girls and boys at 7:30 p.m.
Eagles and Eagles Select Basketball is a competitive middle school league with separate teams for boys and girls in each of the middle school grades. Practices start the week after tryouts and include a once per week speed; agility and vertical jump training session. Games will begin in December.
This is a travel team with travel primarily in the North Fulton area. Select teams will go on to play in spring tournaments. Eagles have a separate recreational league and do not require a tryout. Eagles Select requires a tryout and players who don't make the team will be placed on regular Eagles teams. Pre-registration is required.
