Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue announced today that discussions will continue among federal agencies and the states of Georgia, Florida and Alabama to develop a drought management plan. The governors and Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne agreed upon a Feb. 15 deadline when they met in Tallahassee, Fla., Dec. 17.
