The New England Patriots will take their quest for the second undefeated regular season in history to the Meadowlands of New Jersey when they face off with the New York Giants Saturday night.
Until just yesterday, that game was only to be broadcast on NFL Network, a cable channel not available on most mainstream cable plans nationwide. In fact, only about 35 million households in the country get this channel.
But yesterday the NFL made perhaps a surprising decision in allowing this game to be simulcast on not one, but three networks: NFL, NBC and CBS.
